Sorry for the hiatus, I was directly influenced by the 2 eclipses in July and had to retreat within for a little bit. Sometimes, writing is the only form of letting out for me, but sometimes in those very intense phases, I can't even do that. Perfect, I needed one more day of the focused, pragmatic Capricorn energy. I've gotten a whole lot of work done this week and it feels quite good! The moon remains in Capricorn until 8:58pm tonight, then we move into the energy of Aquarias at 10:01pm. Use the day to get organized and tidy up any loose ends which you started in the beginning of the week. The Sun (in Taurus), Moon (in Capricorn), and Mercury (in Taurus) are all in Earth signs, producing a solid ground under our feet and feeling connected to everything/one around us. Full Moon in Scorpio, Process of Elimination

That's right, today is the full moon in Scorpio (5/9/09 at 12:01am). I know a lot of "stuff" was going on yesterday, but today is the day my friends. Now I know full moons tend to get a bad rap, or used for unruly behavior, but they actually serve a very important purpose: they bring things/situations to light. Now, notice the word "luna" - latin word for moon, now notice the word "lunatic" - being adversely affected by the moon. Now, there is a theory that full moon babies, when your Sun sign, i.e. Virgo, is directly opposite your moon sign, i.e. Pisces, feel this effect very intensely and therefore during full moons turn into werewolves, lol. Well, I'm kidding, but they sure act like it, I have a couple of them around me.

Now, today's full moon is in Scorpio. I love these full moons, because there is no reading between the lines. If full moons bring things to light, and the full moon is in Scorpio, what does that mean?? Hidden fears (Scorpio - ruler of the underworld) will come to light, and you'll have to deal with them. The Scorpio energy will not allow you to bring things up to the surface and just act like they never existed - no, no, no. You will bring these things up to the surface, from the underworld and you will shed light on them and understand them, which brings you into greater clarity and THEN you will excrete them from your system. You are transformed. Now, you understand why the full moon energy can be so restorative, it does what it needs to do - no judgements.

Today our loving moon is void-of-course all morning, and then moves into the sign that brings us clarity - Scorpio. Libra, the sign before Scorpio brings us connection, but stays on the surface. In Scorpio we maintain that connection, but must go below the surface, the hidden recesses to see what its "all" about. The sign after Scorp is Sag and takes the knowledge of what Scorp has uncovered and puts all the pieces together and finds truth...so you see how it works. I've been getting lots of questions about the Mercury Retrograde coming up, it it set to go retrograde early a.m. (5/7/09 at 12:01am EST). When Mercury is retrograde it basically asks you to go within and move slowly. This is a time for evaluation of our thoughts, perceptions, and decisions; that is why it is not a good idea to sign any contracts or make important decisions or purchases. People usually associate retrogrades with negativity, but I personally think they are great. Third time's the charm, eh? Here we are on the 3rd day of the Capricorn moon and my to-do list is not done yet! LOL! I love when I look for excuses and blame it on the celestial energies, it's kinda fun. Truth be told, I have been having fun while I am working, and a frikkin to-do list just adds pressure, so I'm over it :o) I like to exercise my brain by just remembering stuff instead of writing stuff down that I should do. Today's energy supports all that is productivity. It lands in Capricorn at 2:19pm and I really needed this to happen. You see, last night as I was leaving work, I realized there wasn't much that I completed. Phew -- I really needed this moon energy to come around!!! All weekend in Scorpio was intense, and that puts it sooo lightly. Now, I wasn't always a fan of Sag; I thought it was a little too "happy" for me - the serious Cappy. Funny enough the majority of my chart is Sag energy(Sun, Mercury, Mars in the 9th house, Moon and Venus in Sag). I have come to fall in love with me. Sagittarius represents universal truth, and it seeks this with such vigor and enthusiasm. The free spirit of the zodiac, this creature knows it is here for a special purpose.

The moon is void of course until 8:06 pm tonight, we then go into the tender Cancer energy. Cancer is a yin, nurturing, emotional, and sensitive sign. It rules all things that bring (emotional) security and is the ruler of "hOMe". Cancer is also a Cardinal sign (other Cardinals are: Aries, Libra, Capricorn), which means it is an aggressor/leader. This is the initiator of the three water signs (Scorpio-Fixed-stabilizer, Pisces-Mutable-adaptable). Think of waves crashing unto the shore, this is Cancer.
