I've been getting lots of questions about the Mercury Retrograde coming up, it it set to go retrograde early a.m. (5/7/09 at 12:01am EST). When Mercury is retrograde it basically asks you to go within and move slowly. This is a time for evaluation of our thoughts, perceptions, and decisions; that is why it is not a good idea to sign any contracts or make important decisions or purchases. People usually associate retrogrades with negativity, but I personally think they are great. Sometimes all we do is "go, go, and go", we don't stop and question "Why, what, where am I going?"; retrogrades aid us in doing so. Look for the Gemini and Virgo placements in your chart; these are the signs that Mercury rules and that area of your life will be affected. We all will feel it, but it will be more intense if you have primary planets in Gemini and Virgo. Things will feel like they are moving at snail pace, but no worries he turns direct on May 30th.
